All my life I had thought
Every idea I had, I would jot.
What a fool I’ve been
To say things I don’t mean
While silencing what I ought not.
This is my first attempt at trying to write a limerick. Did it work? There are so many types of poetry – i never knew!!

Sounds like it did work, looks like it did, but I’m no limerick reader. My bro Regis would be the one to judge, he’s a limerick writer, wrote a whole book of limericks.
