🙂 We have a deity we worship – Hanuman. The monkey God. He is supposed to be the epitome of complete surrender. He has been given the face of a monkey to depict that just like the ape, he copies everything that his teacher does and then one day he gains enlightenment as well. Sharnagati is that level of surrender.
I can relate to that – I remember a time when I felt that way about someone. Thank goodness I don’t any more – I have enough troubles without that!
