I love chocolate cake, but I managed to pretty much give it up years ago – except at birthdays and celebrations.

if my mother came back to life and started making her chocolate cake again, I wouldn’t be able to resist it, but nothing quite comes up to that – even though I’m a good cook. I watched her, I have the recipe, but she had some kind of magic. Her cakes were the first to be gobbled up at school fetes.
