Finding my way

Yes,  you are right

And you’ve always been.

You and yours have never erred

Or had anything to be ashamed of.

Never before has such perfection

Walked on this planet.

Yes, you are right

And you’ve always known

That deep down inside I’m rotten;

Too much to fit in despite modification.

So you cut me loose and lead me out

To find my own way.

  1. Ooo! You described A) My mother and B) my ex-wife. To them I was but a possession, and a rather inferior one at that. Well, one day the possession found a better way of life, and disappeared from their view. The person whom they saw ever after was a facade which was laughing at them.
