Okay, so I am back. Seems like I still have a little strength left to try out a few other forms of poetry! This one is called anaphora and it requires repeating a sequence of words at the beginnings of neighboring clauses, thereby lending them emphasis. I hope I have understood and written correctly.
He said he had fallen for
Her sweet inviting grin.
It made him very happy
To punch her teeth in.
He said he had fallen for
The way her eyes twinkled back.
It made him very happy
To colour them blue and black.
He said he had fallen for
Her beauty and perfection.
It made him very happy
To keep her caged in a prison.
He said he had fallen for
Her; and could not let her go.
It made him very happy
To rearrange her life just so.
Prompt: Rearrange
It feels funny to click like against something that makes me so sad…but if its impacted me enough to make me sad, then the text merits a like, na

I know what you mean. Often I have had to click like for want of any other options, because though i love the technicality and the writing skills, the words make me really sad.

This was scary to read, and sad to behold. A lot of emotions in just a few short verses. Nice work!

Writing about it increases awareness, and writing about it in the way you have could be a warning to the woman who’s just been punched for the first time, that she should get out while she still can.
He says he sorry, he won’t do it again. If she believes him, he will slowly destroy her.

But isn’t that love? Being blind to logic, reasons and facts? I hope someone reads it and thinks wow that’s my story, n I need to change it.

I hope that too – though if it happens, they may not come back and tell you.

I don’t want proof. I just want happiness.

Good – that’s just how I feel about it. As long as you keep putting the messages out there, they will make a difference 🙂
“Be the good you want to see in the world.” Great quote.
