A sigh of relief, mingled with some hope
I have miles to go before I sleep.
Twisting to hang on to this long rope
Of unfulfilled promises that I must now keep.
Seek between the breaths for a reason
To keep on looking again.
Time to pack-up misery for this season
Before it drives me insane.
Butterflies of innocence flutter once more
As I reach beyond the grief
That had defined me before.
It’s time to turn over a new leaf.
That flows beautifully…

The leaf shall be turned
foes shall be burned.
You will shine
Gone will be the slime
